Self Practice (Mysore Style)

The traditional way of teaching ashtanga yoga, self practice with guidance and assistance so the student fully practices yoga on a deep level.

This method of teaching is accommodates all levels in one class and I can work with each of the students on an individual level, fully engaging with yoga chikitsa, the primary series as yoga-therapy, where by modifications unique to each individual can be applied and each body type, injury or condition can be worked with.

This practice requires a certain commitment from the student but it is one of the most beautiful and beneficial ways of working.
