A 1-2-1 Yoga session is tailored to the individuals needs. We can work together to discover what you need that day, how you need to feel, what you need to release, what you need to strengthen, on a physical, mental and emotional level.
Over the years I have discovered and trained in Therapies that work perfectly with the yoga practice and can assist it’s healing.
Emmett Technique is a muscle release technique that can assist with pain and discomfort. It is a light touch, and can be applied fully clothed. I use it within a 1-2-1 yoga session, or it can be a treatment on it’s own.
I’ve really felt it’s value and I have been very quickly released from pain and discomfort , and I find it a very helpful tool if someone comes to me with pain or injury. Emmett can also assist with the release of tightness and restrictions in the body, so the student can find more ease into a posture.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is a wonderful way of receiving passive yoga. Its a really wonderful way to assist the body to open and release tensions.
Thai yoga massage works by releasing blocked energy around vital channels within the body. The massage is traditionally performed on a padded floor mat where the massage practitioner uses their hands, feet, knees and elbows to apply pressure on these channels, whilst manipulating limbs into yoga-like stretches.
Like Yoga, Thai massage brings the body, mind, and spirit into a state of balance and harmony, providing an opportunity for self-healing.
It is highly recommended for Yoga practitioners as it helps to open and re-align the body, relieve stress and increase general health and wellbeing.
